Rescuers Move Heaven And Earth To Save A Sick Puppy Abandoned To Die On A Bridge

When it comes to rescuing dogs in need, Hope For Paws is an organization that will do whatever it takes to save them. However, one dog, named Dennis, sadly didn't make it, according to Dogfull.

Dennis was abandoned on a bridge and left to fend for himself. Gabriel Sepulveda, a young teenager, noticed Dennis while he was skateboarding and remembered a video he saw from Jordan's Hope For Paws. He knew to contact them for help.

It took two hours for Lisa Chiarelli and Eldad Hagar to reach the location, and what they found was horrific. Dennis was motionless on the ground and covered in ticks.

They brought him to the hospital immediately and started treating him. Lisa's dog, Lola, was rushed to the hospital to donate blood for Dennis, who was suffering from acute anemia. They fought relentlessly to save him.

Over the next five days, Dennis underwent examinations by neurologists, cardiologists, and internal medicine doctors. Unfortunately, it was too late. His body was shutting down, and he was beyond recovery.

Dennis passed away shortly after. May he rest in peace.

"It's crucial to remember that not every rescue has a happy ending. Dennis was neglected for an extended period, and nobody stepped up for him. If you see an animal in distress, please speak up and take action," Eldad urges. "Please share this story to raise awareness about animal neglect and abuse. Thank you, Eldad."

We are saddened to report that despite the efforts of Hope for Paws, Dennis, the abandoned dog found motionless on a bridge covered in ticks, did not make it.

When Gabriel Sepulveda, a teenager on his skateboard, spotted Dennis, he immediately knew to contact Hope for Paws for help. Eldad Hagar, co-founder of Hope for Paws, responded along with Lisa Chiarelli and arrived at the scene after a two-hour journey.

"Dennis was abandoned and left to perish on a bridge. It took Lisa Chiarelli and myself two hours to get there, and what we saw was horrific," said Hagar.

The team brought Dennis to the hospital and started the process of cleaning him up. They brought in Lisa's dog, Lola, to give blood for the severely anemic Dennis. The rescue team fought tirelessly for five days to save Dennis, but despite their efforts, he was too far gone and his body began to shut down.

"It's important to remember that not all rescues have good endings! Dennis had gone unnoticed for a long time, and no one stood out for him. Please say something... do something if you see an animal in distress," Eldad begs.
