A lost and exhausted dog crosses paths with tourists who decide to help him

Having ventured away from home the day before with the other family dog, Sinki had not come home unlike his fellow dog. His masters were increasingly worried and were looking for him everywhere in the area. Tourists from Germany spotted him and immediately came to his aid.

A senior dog lost in the middle of the forest was rescued by tourists and was able to return home safe and sound, reported Le Progrès .

On Sunday, April 9, 2023, Sinki , an elderly 40-kilogram Golden Retriever / Pyrenean Mountain Dog cross , decided to treat himself to a little getaway. With Milka , the other dog of the family, he had gone on a mop and had thus moved away from the family home located near the forests and waterways of Planches-en-Montagne , in the Jura.

If Milka managed to find the way home, Sinki did not return. The concern of his masters was increasing. The mobility of the canine was no longer that of its youth and they feared an accident.

His humans set out to find him, helped by a dozen people. They combed the whole area, but the quadruped remained desperately nowhere to be found. Short of solutions and disappointed, they tried despite everything to continue to hope. Hope we call them or send them a message telling them we just found their beloved Sinki unharmed.

A group of canoeists to the rescue

The good news they had been waiting for finally arrived the next day. It was a group of German tourists visiting this beautiful Jura town that located and saved the brave doggie.

The latter were canoeing on a river when they saw Sinki . The dog was exhausted and they quickly realized he needed help.

Rescuing him was not easy because of his size. The animal was trapped and had to be brought up as quickly as possible. They managed to do it with the help of ropes and with intense effort. Their intervention lasted nearly an hour and a half.

Sinki was able to return home, where he was reunited with his family and Milka .
